Aquarium of the Bay

We rarely ever get a day off that all three of us can go somewhere for fun... so we decided to the Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco to see the Fish. Aubrey loves Fish!

We didn't get that many good pics of the fish.. there was a lot of glare.... and the camera was acting up....

The aquarium is at pier 39 so we of course had to go see the barking sea lions.. Aubrey was not too impressed.. it was probably all of the people. Quite an attraction.... Daddy and Baby hand in hand walking to the car....

One Year Old!!!

Aubrey turned One year old on March 19th!! (A year ago on this day I was in a lot of pain, giving birth at the hospital!). We can not believe it has been a year!! It really did go by fast. We planned a big celebration, but because of the rain it has been postponed. Sooo, we decided to have a small get together at Grandma and Grandpas. Here is her little ice cream cake. She is not really sure about the fire on the candle.... She really wanted to play with the candle.....So...

St Patrick's Day... I mean St. Baldrick's Day....

Every St. Patrick's day a Foundation called St. Baldrick's promotes people to raise money to fund children's cancer research. This year Chris decided to participate. He raised money along with a group of his friends called "Sac town baldies". Here he is with his best friend Chris Beltz and the Mayor of Sacramento Kevin Johnson.. who just happened to be at the Pub that was doing the shaving... Naked head!!!! looks cold.. This is right after it was done....

Before pic... right before he walked out the door.. he is a little shaggy.. but next year he will probably start growing it a lot earlier.. (Aubrey was not very happy when she saw Daddy with no hair.. it took her a good day to get used to it.)

Musician in the Making...

Chris has a keyboard that he does some of his DJ stuff on... He lets Aubrey play on it sometimes..he is determined that she will be a musician...

New Play Tube...Fun Fun Fun!!!

Because Aubrey has been climbing in EVERYTHING.. we decided to get her a nylon tube to crawl through.. the best $19.00 we have ever spent....she loves it... "I know there is a way out of this thing!!"

"Here I AM"

Everyone loves it.. here is Daddy, Baby.. and dog... (you can barely see her fur.. but she is wedged in between). Dog loves it just as much as baby. One follows the other in.. they go around in circles.. fun times...

1st Valentine's Day

Aubrey got an assignment from Daycare to make a Valentine's Day collage. We tried to have her participate, but we got a little too involved in the process and Chris ended up coming up with this beautiful piece. Everybody at daycare was really impressed... It is made up of all different kinds of stickers and puffy paint.. here it is sideways, you can see it is 3D. Putting it together... Aubrey got fer first balloon... with supervision. She loved it...kept her really busy for a long time.

Riding the Kiddie Train at Folsom Park

Grandma Patsy took Aubrey and I to the Folsom Park to ride the Kiddie Train. Here we are sitting in the tiny seats.... The conductor took our picture before we started.. In motion.....

Day at Nimbus Dam

Chris took Aubrey to Nimbus Dam.. his favorite fishin spot. She had an interesting time trying to walk on the river rocks..... This whole place is under water now because of all the rain Sacramento got this Spring. It is totally flooded.

Hangin out at home

Aubrey has been putting things together more and more... she doesn't talk but she really understands everything that is going on around her!! When we put on the movie NEMO... she runs and gets her big stuffed animal NEMO. So smart! (It was actually mommy's stuffed animal, but I gave it to her, should have seen that one comin) Notice NEMO is playing in the background.. Daddy got some good pics!

She loves to get in and out of places.. here is is in our suitcase...

Folsom Zoo!! AGAIN.. we love going here..

Folsom Zoo Sanctuary... really cool place. Aubrey likes to come visit the animals. Because it is cooler outside... the animals are all really active. Lots of stimulation for a little baby!!
