Grandpa Hewel comes to visit!

Every couple months Grandpa Hewel comes down from Reno to visit with us. He took all of us out ot a nice dinner Christmas eve eve. We went to BJ's in Folsom. It was busy, and aubrey got to see lots of people.

Ok, here is the question, does Aubrey say doggy? Mommy thinks she is really close to saying doggy, but Daddy thinks it is just baby babble. What do you think...take a listen.

Eating Spaghetti

Babies fist time eating spaghetti. We had to give her a bath after this one!

Daddy got a tree....

Daddy insisted that we get a tree for the Babies first Christmas. But because she is putting everything in her mouth, Mommy was worried about pulling tree parts out of the babies mouth, but Daddy solved that problem by getting a little tree and putting it on our little dining room table. It looks really cute!

Aubrey got a cool new toy from Aunt Beth!

Aunt Beth sent the coolest new toy to Aubrey!! It was supposed to be for Christmas day, but it so neat we had to try it. Aubrey loves it! She can stand and bang on musical instrument objects and it plays music, alphabet, numbers, etc. Learning time!!

BOOMTOWN!!!!!

This year we had a very unconventional Thanksgiving. We all went to Boomtown in Reno... yes.. Reno to meet the Stoneking Grandparents (Grandpa Sammy and Grandma Patsy), and The Gray Family (Aunt Gina, Uncle Steve, and Cousin Evan). We had a good time in the Snow (I fogot to take pictures of the Snow). It was COLD!! Like 14 degrees! Reno is where Aubrey's Parent's met, so it was kinda neet going back.

Here is Cousin Evan, Daddy, and Aubrey @ Cabella's. We went shopping there on Black Friday! Wasn't to bad. But they did have security in front of the Gun room.

Boomtown is known for the kids games.. here is Aubrey with Mommy on her fist Merry-Go-Round ride!! She got a little disoriented. But liked it...

This was the coolest lady! Crab lady!! She was going around at the Crab Buffet we went to for dinner. Her she is posing with Evan! (Uncle Steve in the Background)

Fun times! We found a way to contain the baby! For a little while....

Happy Halloween!!

Chris and I decided to carve a pumpkin this year for Aubrey's first Halloween! Chris wanted to do JACK from the Nightmare Before Christmas movie. It is kinda scary!!

Mommy decided to make Sweet and Spicy Pumpkin seeds! They are pretty yummy. Not fore baby though.. she is too young for seeds.

This is Chris with his birthday beer... Waaaay better than a birthday cake! There is a candle stuck to the handle of the glass. A trick that Chris Beltz knows from being in the restaurant business. Happy Birthday Chris!!!

Baby dressed up for her daddy's birthday. She got this dress from her Aunt Beth! No.. we did not take the baby to a bar.. this is River City, a restaurant downtown Sacramento. Ok, it is brewery bar/restaurant. One of our old time favorite places to go.

This is Claudia. Our friend Todd's dog. Aubrey loves dogs. She was very facinated with Claudia. Made her giggle and smile.....

Trip to the Folsom Zoo....

We went to the Folsom Zoo yesterday to see all of the neat animals. They are all northern CA animals, like deer, foxes, wolves, etc.. They even had a squirrel in a cage, kinda silly. They had a skunk behind glass though... it was really cool. So cute. I decided that I like skunks. My new favorite animal.

Aubrey liked looking at all of the other people more than the animals.



My friend Leila went with us....we are in the park outside of the zoo. I of course forgot to take pics in the zoo....

Here is a rooster in the park.. there are chickens and roosters roaming around everywhere.... Aubrey didn't really like the rooster because it crows really loud. She would jump everytime it crowed.

Aubrey is 6 months old today!

Panda Bears are Mommy's favorite animal so I of course had to get his cute outfit for Baby. Daddy of course had to tease mommy and stick his foot in this really cute pic! Thanks Daddy!
